XXXII. Donations to any Special Fund for erecting a Building for the purposes of this Charity, shall be carried to a separate account; and the principal thereof, and the accruing interest thereon, shall be invested in the names of Four Trustees, in the same manner as the Fund created by Rule XXXI., distinct from the Trustees of other Funds, and shall be appropriated to that purpose only. It shall be lawful for the Board of Management to accept or decline Donations (including testamentary gifts) and Subscriptions for any Special Trusts not inconsistent with the objects of the Charity, and to make such regulations as they may from time to time think proper, for carrying such Trusts into effect, and for the appointment of persons within the limit of such Trusts to receive the benefits thereof.

XXXIII. It shall be lawful for the Board of Management to purchase or take in

C exchange, or by way of lease, any hereditaments, whether freehold, copyhold, or leasehold, for the use and benefit of this Charity, and also to sell, give in exchange, or grant by way of lease, or to mortgage, or otherwise encumber, or to grant any easements upon, or in respect of, any bereditaments, which have been or shall be purchased or taken in exchange, or by way of lease, aforesaid; and to give or take any money for equality of exchange, and to cause to be inserted in any mortgage or encumbrance any power of sale, or any other powers or provisions, which to the said Board may seem reasonable; and the receipts of any person or persons who may be directed by the Board of Management to receive any purchase or mortgage money, or any money to be taken for equality of exchange, or any other money which may belong to the Charity, shall be effectual discharges for the same, and exempt the parties paying the same from all obligation to see to the application thereof; and for the purposes mentioned in the Rules, or in anywise relating thereto, certificate signed by the Secretary and two members of the said Board for the time being, shall be absolute and sufficient proof to purchasers mortgagees, and all other persons, that any Resolution set out in any such Certificate was a Resolution of the Board of Management duly passed.

The Elections are held on the last Friday in the months of May and November.

FORM OF BEQUEST.

I give and bequeath unto the Treasurer for the time being of THE ROYAL HOSPITAL FOR to be raised and INCURABLES, PUTNEY HEATH, instituted 31st July, 1854, the sum of paul by and out of such of my effects as by law I may or can charge with the payment of the same, to he applied towards accomplishing the charitable designs of the said Institution.

Forms of application and all information may be had at the Office, 4, St. Paul's Church- yard, E.C. Attendance, from Ten till Four; Saturday, Ten till One,

An Annual Subscriber has one Vote for Half-a-Guinea, and an additional Vote for every additional Half-Guinea. A Life Subscriber has one Vote for Life for Five Guineas, and an addi- tional Vote for Life for every additional Five Guineas.

Subscriptions received at the Office by the Secretary, to whom Drafts and Orders should be made payable; also by Messrs. GLYN, MILLS, CURRIE & Co., 67, Lombard Street, E.C.

The Institution is open every week-day for the inspection of Subscribers and friends between the hours of Twelve and Six.

Inmates may be visited every week day from Two to Six; and Sundays, from Two to Half-past Three.
